Does anyone know a good site to keep up with video game fan translations besides Romhacking.net? I say besides Romhacking.net because while Romhacking.net is mostly good, they have some weird restriction where if the patch is above a certain filesize, it's not allowed to be added to the database, which results in it missing some games. So if anyone knows any other websites that keep track of this stuff, like a news site or another database, I'd appreciate it.

There isn't really any alternative.

There are other sites which act like forums for romhacking like gbatemp.net and often new translations will be posted there, but no other site has an archive/news style like romhacking.net.
