I found this cool wood cup and i want use it as a coffee mug. It has something medieval to it The problem is that the inside is dirty. There are paint spots in the wood. How can i make it so that i can safely drink from it? Do i glaze it? Do i put a smaller cup inside it.should i grind the inside. Maybe pour something inside and let it dry on the walls ?

It was from my childhood i used it as a pen holder for felt-pens
