Super Smash Bros 3DS is a fun fighting game. The legend of zelda Ocarina of time and Majoras Mask are lengthy action games!

Persona Q if youre a Persona fan, don't bother if you've never played 3 or 4 (some people poop on this game but I liked it)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 1 & 2 Overclocked/Record Breaker (NDS games ported to 3DS with new stuff) DS1 was the best game on NDS you dont wanna catch these hands
Xenoblade Chronicles
various Dragon Quests
various Mario & Luigi series games (basically Mario RPG series for handhelds)
Hatsune Miku Project Mirai if you're a dork with a Miku tattoo like me
Theatrhythm
various Rune Factorys (literally Harvest Moon + Square ENIX)
Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas is a Zero Escape style game. It's short and easy, but it's all waifus and I didn't want my time back at the end (digital only)
Fairune is a cute little 8 bit zelda-like. I think it took me five hours to beat the first time. (digital only)


People will tell you Link Between Worlds and Animal Crossing are good, but I found LBW pretty brainless and boring and I've always felt like Animal Crossing could just be called Chores: the Game. YMMV
