I'm a college student, and I live with my mother and her asshole husband. He's my step father.
He's generally a huge cock head and we get into fights and arguments a lot. They almost always result in him putting parental controls on my computer to restrict internet access, for a really long time. I'm starting to worry that it may effect my job.
I already know how these thing work, I have a BT router, so he sets BT Access control. I've been trying to spoof my MAC Address by changing it in Network adapter properties. This somehow didn't work though so I tried downloading TMAC v6 and thought I could spoof it that way. These both havn't worked, the BT access control seems to be good at its job.
I sound like a pathetic little bitch, but does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how I can get around this?
I'm using my data for this so help would be much appreciated. I'll try to supply any needed details.

He may be whitelisting rather than blacklisting; if that's the case, you're out of luck unless you can spoof his or your mum's existing (whitelisted) MAC.

If you have a job, you should be able to afford your own data. You may need to cut back on waste spending and prioritise your internet access. If you don't want that sort of advice, feel free to exclude that level of detail next time you post.
