How do I solve for h?
>>374148
Nevermind, got it
>>374155
Out of curiosity - how did you do it?
Hope you can read my terrible handwriting
>>374171
Pretty clever.
Way better than the solution I had in mind.
>>374171
Just set up 2 equations:
>y = m1x + b1
>y = m2x + b2
m1 = tan(-38) = -.78
m2 = tan(32) = .62
b1 = 12
b2 = 8 - .62*6 = 4.28
-.78x + 12 = .62x + 4.28
7.72 = 1.4x
x = 5.51
y = 12 - .78(5.51) = 7.698
I'm off a little bit due to rounding.

Actually, I did it your way and got the same number, so I guess you're off by about .13 somehow?
