Never thought I would be coming here for tech support but I'm desperate.
I updated Windows 10 to the latest version and upon the update being installed my mouse (Logitech G500) seemed to stop working, how odd. Using my keyboard I went into device manager and the mouse is appearing under "Universale Serial Bus devices" rather than the usual mouse bit.
I have tried everything to get it to work, but nothing. I have tried different USB ports, tried the mouse on a different pc (it works), I went out and bought a Logitech G502 (same shit happens with that), I've formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows THREE FUCKING TIMES, I've tried safe mode, I've tried downloading logitechs software, I've tried a shit load of other things.
I've been here for 5 hours now trying to get this, any fecking mouse to work on this machine.
Whenever I try and do something with the G500 or 502 listed on the device manager it just crashes, won't let me uninstall them or update them or anything. Problems have been the same on every install of windows.
I'm out of ideas. 4chan, pls halp.
Pic related, my device manager screen.
PS the HID compliant mouse thing is showing as a Logitech virtual mouse if that means anything
Oh and I forgot to add, I've googled everything I can and nothing helps
