Good idea or bad idea? From their website it gives this description:
>This Certified Refurbished product is tested and certified to look and work like new. The refurbishing process includes functionality testing, basic cleaning, inspection, and repackaging. The product ships with all relevant accessories, a minimum 90-day warranty, and may arrive in a generic box. Only select sellers who maintain a high performance bar may offer Certified Refurbished products on Amazon.com
I'm liking the lower prices and don't care at all about battery life being diminished as it will be able to be plugged in at all times. Any other potential downsides?

I would trust it, Amazon has great customer service so if anything happens they will help you, I don't see anything wrong with ordering refurbished especially with a guaranteeā¢ like that.

Great idea.
I got a Fujitsu Lifebook this way, cheap and works perfect.I only had positive experience with that.
>battery life
That is the only real gamble, often they still have much more capacity than guranteed.
At mine only 30 mins were guaranteed, in reality it has 4+ hours. But keep in mind anecdotal experience.
