Only good part of GX is yubel, 5Ds is only good during the first 64 or so chapters and Arc-V has had its ups and downs.

In my personal opinion I would say GX but only because Jaden is my waifu.

Read the original manga. DM and Season Zero both fucked some stuff up.
GX is alright, but starts out slowly.
Drop 5D's after the Dark Signers Arc.

English dub of the original, even though it's been censored and edited, the nostalgia hits me hard. Also, soundtrack in the dub is much better

Season 2 of GX is the undisputed goat

The first ~25 episodes of 5Ds are legitimately good, like better than most anime airing this season. After that it's decent until the end of the Dark Signer arc, then it gets a lot worse. Arc V is pretty good so far. Everything else is awful but people will still recommend DM/GX because of nostalgia.
