Ask the person who gave you the laptop for the password. Surely they'll be happy to help you, since they willingly gave you the laptop.

Get a bootable usb (with ubuntu or something it doesn't matter) and boot the computer from it. You should be able to extract the data from the disk (the internal drive should appear as a secondary drive) if you need to keep it, then install a different (or the same if you can find installation media) OS. If you don't need the data just format the drive and install new OS.

1. Download a windows iso (you can get them directly from microsoft or if you get the iso from elsewhere, make sure to check the md5/sha against know hashes for windows isos)
2. Make a usb installer. Microsoft also has a tool for this, its pretty straightforward
3. Reinstall binbows
4. Use windows loader 2.2.2 to activate
