Chuunibyou is good for light-hearted bullying of a cute delusional girl, but many would say the actual LN is better because of the fact that things move far more quickly, and its more fluid in how the story is actually conveyed, especially because Chuunibyou S2 is shit compared to S1.

Legitimately curious on this one

well episode one of kotoura-san is basically half an hour of "how absolutely depressing can we make this girl's backstory" and she gets bullied in the first few episodes, but then she befriends the bitch and the anime is more of a romantic comedy than anything else. Also, there is A LOT of fanservice. I basically just watched it cause I think Haruka is a cutie.
