I'm an international student in London and I've left my loving family, home, friends, everything, to pursue a good education. I am totally devastated. I am also engaged. I have to stay here for a year for a fellowship except for the Christmas period when I'll reunite with my dear ones.

Anybody here have some similar experiences? Any advice? Anything to relax and calm down and focus on studying? I'm absolutely devastated and can't keep myself from tearing all the time and crying frequently, although I'm 27.

I know it's for the better but I miss everyone so dearly my heart is broken
