I finished ME1 a week ago, I'm going to start 2, but beforehand, do I need any mods? (quality of life mods) Do I need any DLC?

I'm asking because I torrented a version that included all DLC and it was a cluster of mess.

I would definitely get the DLCs that add extra squadmates: Zaeed - The Price of Revenge, and Kasumi - Stolen Memory.

Lair of the Shadow Broker adds a mission I thought was interesting.
