For about half a year now my computer has been using ridiculously high amounts of memory. The most infuriating thing is that it seems to be sporadic. Sometimes I can have multiple programs/tabs/etc going at once, sometimes it starts to use high memory after a couple hours and sometimes it just uses high amounts shortly after finishing startup. (These screenshots were taken 5min after the computer had booted today)

I have searched forums, performed multiple virus scans, performance tests and driver updates (though it won't let me update the BIOS for some reason. Every time I finish running the latest BIOS update and reboot it just stays at V1 from 2014. Unsure if related) but I cannot find a solution to my problem as I have no idea what's USING all that memory. I took it into computer repairs and they said there didn't appear to be any problems with it so I'm not sure what else to do. If anyone has any idea what the issue could be or any possible fix I would appreciate it as I'm all out of ideas. Thanks.

When is the last time you formatted?.

Have you run an antivrus/malware scan?.if so what program?.
