I bought some OVAs on Steam and I want to open them with VLC Media Player to take screenshots since VLC will take them at the maximum resolution without my PCs screen resolution alter it. But Steam only allows me to open them with their player.
Can someone tell me how do I open a steam video with VLC? Or the folder where the said video is located.

the folder is not located anywhere
steam's anime is a streaming service, the video files are on steam's servers and sent to you in real time as you watch them, as with youtube or crunchyroll
furthermore:
if you don't want to deal with this shitty drm nonsense just pirate the anime instead of buying it on stream
you'll get video files that you can play whenever you want, without needing an internet connection
