I want some comp technician or someone with any idea in OS installing to give me some input. I recently installed Debian OS on an encrypted HD partition that I can only access using a USB drive. While installing the last components (and the most important ones) a file named grub-install-dummy failed (apparently corrupted) and I couldn't force installing like the installer suggested. So now even using the USB key I can't access the OS. I have a Windows 10 OS. I'm not sure I should retry the install process since the OS is already encrypted on the HD. Before you ask, I enables legacy support so no BIOS incompatibility. Anyone can help me here?
Boot into gparted live, delete the partitions and just retry the install process, if you didn't even boot into the OS then it's going to be the fastest and easiest way to fix it without spending hours troubleshooting
