My HP 9000 is booting just fine, start up sounds and all, but the display is just yellow and I've been tracking across other forums for 2 hrs but
none of them had the same symptoms as I did. Pls help /wsr/

Try to press supr or delete when the computer starts. Also try to connect it to a different display, maybe is a problem with the Pc's display.

That's a busted screen ribbon cable.
If it does it again you can open and shut it a bunch of times, but eventually it's going to need replaced.
