Why a switchblade?
because they're cooler

You could check out Taiwan made Schrade autos. 60BT, SC90 variants
>YT reviewers are careful not to highlight some of those are really autos.
However If you want something both substantially better (warranty, service, community, etc) and Made in USA, it's Benchmade auto. Honestly.

Underage and/or gay
First off fag, auto blades are illegal in a lot of places, especially outside of the U.S. So before you go getting hard over your gangster fantasies, check your local and state laws, just to be safe.
Furthermore, if you're looking for a functional knife, switchblades are not a good idea. Their mechanical nature makes them more prone to failure and breakage, and most are cheap Chinese shit.
If you're stuck on getting an auto, get a Kershaw. They're reasonable priced, quality blades. Owned a few pocket knives from them, they're good and hold up, so long as you maintain them.

This anon also has good advice, depending on your price range. Shrade is affordable and good, Benchmade is more expensive.
Also, always remember to maintain your knife. Even a cheap knife can carry you a while if you take care of it.
