I fucked up and accidently and downloaded some program and now there is ads when i load a web browser. Dumb ads that dont load but appear in the url. My antivirus cant detect it. Any help?

What is the name of the website URL? Google "how to remove (website URL) virus" and follow the instructions.

Some easy tips:

Try malwarebytes, like this guy said:

if that's not working, and you are on windows, do a system restore back to a week or so ago.

Then do malwarebytes scan.

Get a free antivirus like avast.

Op here.
I use firefox but it pops up on other browsers too. Stuff like this show up. The websites do go just pop up in url. I deleted two programs that popped up. On was called Discover Treasure. Running malwarebytes right now

Running full scan on my kaspersky and using that malwarebytes program. Hopefully it finds this cancer
