Should I use VMware or PlayOnLinux for vidya on Ubuntu?
Depends on your computer
Both are shit solutions. Simply don't play games that don't respect your freedoms.

None. You should use Windows if you need to run Windows software.

ALways try PlayonLinux first, it's a lot less hassle. If something doesn't work THEN you have to choose, setting up a virtual system is not much less work than setting up a real one but needs a lot more processing power. And you need an installer, legit or not, anyway. So then just why not install the Win-system for real making a dual- boot system and just use it for games? Sure, a bit inconvenient to reboot whenever you want to play a game, but is the whole VM thing worth it? That's sth. only you can decide.
It's what most users do though. Even though I now use my Linux system as main system I still have my Windows too which I visit sometimes.

Using a KVM is a lot safer and easier than trying to dual boot and getting Windows to play nice with GRUB.

Ive never had issues with Windows and Grub. Burg was much better though.

Grub with Windows is a massive pain in the ass. Either Windows isn't listed or I get BSOD. Trying to fix it makes other OSs stop working too.

Then you're retarded and doing something wrong. Windows and Grub work seamlessly.

Grub = bug
Bugs are bad for computers

Sandboxes are safer
KVM doesn't have GRUB problems
