So I got this at my local asian market thinking they would be ok to put in a steamer. it didn't work and they came out awful and goopy. does anyone know the proper way to make these things? no english instructions if that wasn't obvious

can you make requests in /ck/?
>>354114
it a whole board for talking about food
if this wouldn't be allowed there, that would be beyond retarded, even for 4chan
>>354122
anime requests aren't allowed on /a/, which is why I thought it might be the same other places
>>354125
which is a stupid rule errected by idiots who want to push off other idiots who fill up /wsr/, instead of dealing with it logically
>>354094
Those look like mochi; you should be able to just defrost and eat them.
(you can also grill them like marshmallows).
>>354127
No it's not, it's a global rule, and it applies to all boards. Requests go in the request boards, otherwise every board turns into the request board.
The most important rule, rule zero, is "lurk moar". /a/ has its own culture, and is highly intolerant of cancer that other boards seem to just put up with.

According to a similar packet, you boil them til they float, then fish them out.
>>354094
>rice balls with peanut filling
Why would they need to be cooked?
>>354142
"share a piece of information" is not a request
"do X for me" is a request
>/a/ is cancer
>>354094
You're supposed to cook them in broth with vegetables
