Greetings, /wsr/
So, as you are aware a laptop's performance is boosted when it is charging, my question is: do you guys know any method/application that makes your computer keep that boost?(obviously battery duration is not important)

>Inb4 just keep the damn thing plugged in.
No, that would eventually damage the battery.

the reason you get a boost when the laptop is charging.. is because when it's running from its battery, the laptop scales some stuff down, to use less power. the CPU and graphics card aren't allowed to work at full strength.

you can override this and tell the laptop to run at full strength no matter how quickly it runs the battery down - there should be something in the power settings, depending on what OS you're using.

everyone knows the only way to keep the speed is to use 2 plugs at the same time....or rub it with cheetah blood

Thanks, anon.
I currently use two OSs: Windows 10 and Solus x86_64 with the GNOME desktop environment.

I have looked into that, but there is no option or configuration that allows me to do that; this is why I decided to make the thread.

Not as quickly as cycling it, you absolute mong.

>tries to extend battey life by not keeping it charged
>does so by repeatedly charging and discharging it

Take out battery and keep it plugged in.
