Comedic Anime Recommendation

Hoozuki no Reitetsu, Tentai Senshi Sunred are both great and fit the bill.

Also it isn't outlandish but Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun is probably my favorite anime comedy.

Thank you! Both of these seem fantastic.

Normally Slice of Life is not my style unless it is unique in more than one aspect such as Nichujou amd Yotsubato&!. I dropped Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso due to one too many pervert but not really jokes and the lack of abnormalities.. Despite the glimps of an abusive mother and son relationship at the end of the third episode was not enough to keep me motivated to see the story through to the end.

I had completely forgotten the amount of panels I have seen of Grand Blue that made me laugh. Thank you for reminding me.. I will be sure to start it tomorrow. I have plenty to pick from your list so thanks a bunch!

I think one of the special things about Japanese animation; it doesn't have to be a comedy like western animation; it can be of any genre; western always gotta be comedy look at Family Guy or The Simpsons or any other animated show on western television.
