Warhammer End Times: Vermintide, if you and your friends like fantasy. Yeah, it's a LFD2 clone, but it's a really fucking good clone.

Starbound is fun for building shit, and it's fairly cheap. The problem is if you play it solo for long enough you will fucking blow past your friends in powerlevel.

Battlefield 4 if you like online FPS. If you and friends are good at working together and are all competent, you'll fucking wreck public games. Actual cooperation is hilariously broken.

Magika, just because it's such a clusterfuck where you'll end up killing eachother more often than killing the enemy, it's more for fucking around than anything.

I usually play FPS with friends.
Resident Evil 5 - However for an old steam game its still 20 USD. Would wait for a Capcom steam sale
Also this game is only for up to 2 players.

Borderlands 2 is also a great game for co-op play. You can play up to 4.

Paladins is a free version of Overwatch, I've never played it but I've heard good things about the game. I think Overwatch should have been a FTP game. Didn't feel like a complete game at launch and gets really boring when there are no events or skins to get.

System Shock 2 has a fun but not as scary as single player coop
