To be quite honest, it's way too low res to even bother removing the background.

What would you do with it, if the background was transparent? (Maybe a different technique will get you what you want.)

it's quite easy you'll just need to duplicate the layer increase the contrast make a color range selection and duplicate the selection on the original layer
