It's been like this for a whole hour now, nothing I do makes this stop, give up updating and take me to login. Please help.
Start repair couldn't fix whatever is the matter with it and I'm loosing my mind over it.

- press ctrl-alt-del, wait 60 seconds, press ctrl-alt-del
- when the dots appear, pull out all your USB plugs, even your keyboard and mouse. Specifically, wireless mouse dongles seem to cause this.

This has had the most success to me during hanging boots. Best I can figure is Windows is trying to boot off of my mouse or some other device I had(my Zune was usually the culprit). I usually just hold power button to force a shutdown then unplug every usb and restart. Just my 2c. To be fair, I've never used 10
