So I'm replaying Fate/Extra and realizing just how much I enjoy it this time around.
I also just learned that Fate/Extrella exists and actually got localized and released in English so I'm considering buying it.
But I'm also well aware that there is no official translation for Fate/Extra CCC and the only fan translation I can find is nowhere near finished.
So what I want to know is whether I'll be able to enjoy Extrella without ever playing CCC and, if not, is there any way to play/watch someone play enough of CCC to fully appreciate the entire Extra series without having to learn Moonspeak?
Can't find a definite answer to this anywhere, so please help me out if you can.
If what I've read is right, CCC isn't needed for Extella. And Extella has its own version of the Extra war, which Nasu posted on his blog and called it Extella/Zero. Extra and reading that blogpost sometime should be enough, I think.
Just googling Extella/Zero whould bring it up if you are interested.

So Extella isn't a direct sequal to Extra?
I heard that CCC is like a "companion game" that supposedly takes place alongside the original story, so I thought Extella would be a follow up to the many loose ends that the ending to Extra left unanswered.
Found the post, so I'll give it a read.
Fuck this series is confusing. Even if you don't take the overall Fate series into account, the Extra games on their own are really hard to place in comparison to each other...
