Anyone know some good or fun short comic collections I can look into? I want to read some stuff so I can get an idea on how to write short comics. Maybe stories like 5 or ten pages long. Perhaps mervel or dc has some stories like this. Or some other interesting publishers. I'd like to read some funny stories or stuff involving super heroes if possible.
I was thinking of asking co, but I wasn't sure if requesting stuff there was against the rules. Hopefully someone can suggest some cool titles for me.
I can't think of anything that fits your criteria other than newspaper comic strips, and comic books like 2000AD or Heavy Metal. The "best" or at least most famous stories are usually much more than just 5~10 pages.
There are a decent amount of manga oneshots that are in that length range, though they rarely have anything to do with superheroes.
If you only want Western artists, Ryan Armand did a decent number. Check out the incomplete/hidden comics under the "Ribald Youth" folder, and "People Comics", "The 2006 Comics Revue", and "Short Stories" under the Kiwis by Beat folder:

But are manga acceptable, or are you solely looking for Western comics?

Manga is acceptible if you know some titles, so feel free to share.

I dumped one short oneshot in the textless manga request thread >>346954
Ranman by Shinkichi Kato is a collection that's mostly made up of very short oneshots, many of which are humorous. Some of them are more on the surreal/bizarre side. I believe most of Seiman Douman's stuff fits. I haven't read too much of his work, but he's pretty well regarded for his short comedies, mostly on the dark/perverse side of things. Some of the stories in Nasa by Naoki Urasawa are pretty short and funny.
A couple of oneshots released by One Snowshoe: Man vs Dog is a 12 page comedy, and Haru no Ko is a pleasant 10 page story.

I'm also partial to panpanya, who's more on the lighthearted side of comedy. Unfortunately, not too much of his stuff is translated. I'll dump one of his shorts.
And here's one of the stories from Ranman that's eternally relevant.
A few more suggestions:
Children Can't Choose Their Parents
Cool Lady (from Water by Kiriko Nananan)
Female Fridge No. 1
The Locker Trade Agreement (a little longer than your request, but a fine example of sci-fi/comedy).
These mangas are kind of what I had in mind, like the humorous character designs. Thanks for these and the links.
