I bought an old toshiba 660cdt on Thursday for retro gaming.
Eidos Gangsters. It was working ok then i changed display settings for the game to be full screen. Now after boot I see only black. Plz help. I will literally send you money on paypal or suck ur dick online for assistance.

Are you asking if its in safe mode? I didn't put it in sm. It goes to scandisk mode the shows win98 logo then i hear animation for startup but see black. Thanks for the rapid response btw

I mashed esc and a menu came up. Im monkeying with settings rn. I think i tried f8 yesterday to no avail but ill try it next. I appreciate your help. Stick with me.

Best case scenario, your graphics driver is fucked up so try a reinstall. But with an old bucket like that it could easily be dead hardware in which case you better know some great mechanics who know old PCs
