The regex can only see the data that's on the page. If there's nothing on the page that says a post is by you, there's nothing it can use to match it with.

You could filter all the Japanese OPs like you did now and then use the thread watcher with the "Auto Watch" option enabled, so that even if the threads you open don't appear in the catalog, they still appear in the thread watcher and you can check them from there.
