looking for that little rubber part that goes in the corner of a macbook air 2013/2014 i cant find it anywhere.
I need one for another macbook air.

plz dont hate -f a m-
appreciate ya
will pay any price

Draw an arrow pointing it's location.

Car parts stores and hardware stores sells silicone hoses of all sizes that compress, O-rings of all sizes etc etc. The price is literally cents.

If it's just a rubber damper for MB you can just improvise it. Not too thick, not too thin.

its the black part in the corner

Looks like a pile of (1/4 inch or something) nitrile rubber O-rings.

I doesn't need to be rocket science. I refuse to believe those actually have any precisely rated ESD properties (because it's elastomer component for mechanical damping purposes). Material internal damping is about tan delta 0.1-0.3 @ RT like with basically any other standard rubber.

Yes. Not too thick, not too thin.

you could use a drop of silicon caulk. comes in tubes like glue, and it will set in the right shape. downside: your macbook will smell like a shopping bag for a few hours.

Yeah but avoid systems that use acidic chemistry as a curative. MSI mass would be better. With those there won't be any major risk of unwanted etching that would further induce corrosion.
