Are you using CCCP or KCP or any other codec pack? Try opening the LAV splitter option. I think you should untick "demux sub streams separately" in demuxer settings.

I heard if you install the xy-vsfilter sub filter or whatever text will show up.

I wasn't using a codec pack. I just installed KCP and now I'm not getting subs on MPC at all so that's another issue. Subs appear on VLC though.

I tried giving CCCP a shot. My subs are back in the video but I'm still having the same issue with the subs not showing up in my saved images.
