So far I've been using kissanime to stream anime. Would like to be able to have some downloaded before I go away on holiday. Any recommendations?

Almost every private tracker doesn't allow asking for invites to their site through public forums. So even if you did post your email and you got invited, you and the person who invited you would be banned.
It's best to either wait for open registration (which probably won't be for a while) or get into another private tracker and get Power User status or whatever and try and get an invite.
AnimeTorrents.me is pretty shit, but if they ever open up sign ups again, see if you can get on there. I don't know if AnimeBytes has an invite thread on there for Power Users though, so all I can say is good luck and ganbatte, anon.

Wait. I just got in a few weeks ago after the whole nyaa shutdown. BTW I agree with you. The selection is pretty meh but they do have bonus points for seeding which is pretty nice compared with Bakabt.
