I have never used twitter before in my life and I want to start. I want to create a personal twitter account, but I don't want it tied to my actual identity in any way. This is the important part. Is there some way to do that?
Twitter has already been tracking you even though you didn't have an account. So when you make an account, you have to use a proxy and a different browser (they can ID you by the dimensions of your browser window etc.). But then when you make an account, they probably automatically block you and ask for phone verification to prove you're not a bot. You then have to appeal the ban, by e-mailing tech support and explaining that you don't have a phone.

It's fucking true though.
If you don't have a Twitter account, go create one right now, get to the "now why don't you follow some people" page, and prepare to excrete masonry.
Don't.
Twitter is the absolute bottom of all communication.

Which niche internet celebrity are you trying to harass anon ?

not OP, but considering the site is jam packed with libtards and nothing else...

No, I mean they track you to improve the user experience. Using cookies and browser fingerprints etc. YouTube does the same, to suggest videos you're likely to want to watch.

I'm assuming OP means he's paranoid.
I don't worry about this stuff myself. Besides, someone who really wants to find out your identity can learn a lot from the words you use and the things you talk about. Statistical inferences that you didn't even think were possible.
If OP is not paranoid, he can just create a new gmail account and make a twitter with that gmail account.
Gordon Ramsay a shit
All I really want is to just have access to twitter, if I need it. I probably won't use it much.
I'm not too worried about other people stalking me. I just don't want to mysteriously fail a class because the university found out I said something nice to Donald Trump on twitter, or similar scenarios. You know.
All it really asks for on the sign up page is email, so I'll take a look at a second gmail account. I already have an account, but it's so confusing with all the other stuff Google pushes at you.
