wow, we have disparate tastes, but that's ok. I'll keep that in mind when I make reccs, so keep that in mind when reading them.

Hyouka (maybe a 7 for you, but I could be wrong about what things you like or dislike about what you have watched)
Bartender (similar atmosphere to mushishi I feel, but more "realistic" obviously)
Baccano

depending on how you're feeling about Cowboy Bebop then Samurai Champloo
if you end up liking flcl then Kyousou Giga


also I'm curious as to why you dislike the second season of higurashi so much compared to the first? I haven't seen the second season but I know some spoilers

thanks for replying and taking a look at my list.
ill defintely check out bartender and baccano.
i thougt the mystery the first season had just got completely lost in the second one. im not really a fan of supernatural stuff and the conclusion was a little "too nice"(i guess it wasnt edgy enough for me). i guess i just dont really like the actual explanation of the mystery in this case even though there is not much wrong with it. its just taste i guess.

but 6 is still a positive score so it wasnt too bad.

havent watched a single one of them except flcl. I heard about all of them though. the majority of the list just doesnt look very interesting to me at this moment(!) but i will keep them in mind. I think as the next anime i will watch on that list is great teacher onizuka. how i said, thanks for the recommandations.
