I am looking for a Russian movie that was done in the late 70's or early 80's as I watched it in 1985 or 1986 on a tape.
I remember they fight against the US and the events in the story are some fictional low intensity battle, probably with Russian commandos, happening post WWII.
I seem to remember there are scenes in a boat or in a submarine.

That is very similar to this one. I remember the enemies where the yankees in it though.
