I recently had to stick a mop down my drain to remove a lump of fat from my kitchen drain because I didn't clean the drain regularly

I've only started taking care of the house recently because there is nobody else capable of doing it and I hate having to waste money by calling other people to fix my problems.


ITT: post the things you need to do to keep your house running efficiently

I'll start-
>Pour caustic soda + hot water down the kitchen drain(every 6 months)
>Clean the gutters(annually)
>mow the lawn(every 2 weeks)
