It seems like it takes my computer a long time to show image thumbnails even if I was just in the folder. Is there any way to fix this?

check if your C: drive has enough space
Is your C: drive on an SSD?. If it's an HDD then defragment. ALso regardless clean your caches and shit with CCLeaner or some other program that does a general scan and removal of temp directories and can reset your thumbs.db stuff.

Try setting your folder optimisation to general items

I set jpg and png to not be looked at in antivirus
I had the folder set to general already but I switched to pictures and back to general and it seems like it is maybe working a bit better.
Is there a way to just always have the thumbnails in memory or something
bump
If there is any other possible fix to speed it up anymore that would be great
last bump for now though
