Anybody actually want to see /wsr/ in the cup? Having actual support is an obvious requirement.
>>325473
What would our team even be made of?
>>325526

Has about as much culture as /gd/.

I dunno why this exists when /aco/ doesn't allow lolis. /aco/ a shit. A SHIT.
>>325561
I voted for /wsr/ to be in the /4cc/ in the poll Lear posted at the end of last babby. i want to se a Wasuri blender.
>>326315
/qst/ and /wsr/ were the teams that /4ccg/ want to see in the near future.
If /wsr/ gets off the ground, their first match could be a Fetus game against /mlp/ or /k/, assuming the Fetus is necessary again.
>>326361
Nice. It shouldn't be too hard to make the team a reality since all that is required is a little bit of interest from the board. Plus with autopilots being back a real manager isn't even required to get a /wsr/ team started.
>>326382
Back when someone was interested in being a manager, and before he simply disappeared from the face of the earth, I made a simple kit. I was going to add some patterns to it too, but then the guy disappeared.
>>326422
Obamacare? He joined the /pol/ managers for Autumn 2016. /pol/ had a disastrous cup so Obamacare and a few others got sacked.
>>326466
Checked the md5 in the archive.
Yeah.

My god, it'll be beautiful...

I'd like to do something to represent my fav board /wsr/, but I never played any soccer games before and am not interested in them either.
If a cup for Dota 2 or CSGO comes up, you can count me in...

I'd like to see a /wsr/ team but I'm not really sure how it'd work. This board does have its memes, but it's not exactly like it's an active board with a ton of support. Mostly it's people making asking for something rather than browsing
Then there's the issue of managing and all that. I mean, I think it's interesting and I'd even consider helping out but I'd have no idea where to start or what to really do. I think /wsr/ just doesn't have the kind of support to drive a team, threads like this are really the only meta kind of discussion we have
>>326729
All the support needed from the board is anything better than "Fuck off".
I am sure this thread would be enough to demonstrate to /merit/ there is a desire from /wsr/ to have a team in the /4cc/
Getting a manager as a small board could be tricky, but at the very least we could get an autopilot team going so long people who want to get involved with the team help /aesco/ to come up with aesthetics and whatnot.

>I am sure this thread would be enough to demonstrate to /merit/ there is a desire from /wsr/ to have a team in the /4cc/
Come on man, it's 13 IP's, around 4 of which are interested. It's something, sure, and of course there are some boards who largely don't even know about their 4cc team, but /wsr/ is a slow board too
Then obviously there's the issue of a manager. An autopilot team seems a bit useless, part of the fun of the 4cc is the "tactics". It'd feel less like a board team and more just like random AI
>>326776
Lear has said that all the support you need is anything better than "fuck off" or no responses.
Autopilots still get tactics and exports made for them, they just have no manager. It would be a way to get the team going and hopefully it'd get enough interest for someone to step up as a manager.
>>326796
Maybe we'd get somewhere then. We don't have threads for discussion in general often though.
There's every chance the idea dies whenever this thread does. I do like the idea though, it'd be nice to root for /wsr/ but again, it's a small board and I know some people aren't keen on the smaller boards with minimal support, since it feels like most of the board doesn't even know
Someone post the /wsr/ banner
It's not rare but it's nice
Do you guys find browsing /wsr/ makes you more open to spoonfeeding on other boards?
Please continue posting Wasuri's too I don't want to derail

The team has a page
http://implyingrigged.info/wiki/User:Kitfag//wsr/
It's not official, but when the hell did /wsr/ play and how did I miss the team being formed? Apparently it was done in 2016 and for some reason a song from Moana is our Goal Horn. I get why, but it's still a tad strange

>Do you guys find browsing /wsr/ makes you more open to spoonfeeding on other boards?
Not really. For example, I passionately hate expressions like "pls", "plz", "pl0x" and any variation of those. Should one of those appear in the request, I will not give any help.
>>327122
>I sauce them because it annoys the circlejerkers.
I do the same for the same reason. I just love it.
>>327103
>for some reason a song from Moana is our Goal Horn. I get why, but it's still a tad strange
This bell-end came along and started the same thread you did, then tried to tell us what our memes were, at which point he got told to fuck off with his stupid football thing, at which point he obviously just did what he was planning to in the first place.
Almost nothing on that page has anything to do with /wsr/, because it was made without /wsr/'s involvement.

Well thanks for filling me in. I'm not OP of this thread though, just a curious party.
Sounds like a shitty situation, looking at the thread it doesn't quite seem he was forcing his memes into it, but it does seem as if he was taking control when no one really appointed him or agreed on anything
If anything that only further kills my hopes of a /wsr/ team

Hey, user of the page here. I """managed""" /wsr/ in the No Bully Bowl invitational tournament. They didn't get out of the group stage. ObamaCare never managed /wsr/ at any point in time (he went to /pol/ as previously mentioned).
To manage an actual cup team (within the Elite/Babby Cup), you need to be a verified who puts effort into managing: Polls, aesthetics, learning PES so that you can manage properly. For invitationals, not as much. The least you can do is sign up, send in a team and watch them play, so long as you have an export with kits ready.
Obviously, /wsr/ has little to no culture. While Obamacare was the first one to stir up interest for /wsr/, he disappeared shortly after. I liked the board, so I took charge and did the roster myself (without consultation from the board itself, sorry). After the invitational I lost interest and decided that I wasn't cut out for managing.
I have no interest in involving myself in managing /wsr/ in the future, but I'd love to see the team get off the ground and play in the Elites.
There are only a few requirements to get /wsr/ into the cup: Demonstrate that the board has enough support, and if so, poll the board on the roster/music/colors. If these are both met, /wsr/ can get in as an autopilot. Getting somebody else to manage the team is the hard part.
>>327142
Also, for the record, I've never started a /wsr/ thread about the cup, but I did post in Obamacare's threads.
Finally, if /wsr/ should get off the ground, the team should be done from scratch. So feel free to discuss who should be in the roster, what the team's music should be, etcetera.
I wish I knew how to do anything PES so I could contribute. I want to see Wasuri face Get Out of /jp/ in an Elite cup.
>>327250
I played PES for years, and even I don't think I know how to get into the tactics and all that stuff at all
I don't know how current managers do it, worst still I'm mostly on a Laptop so I don't imagine PES would even run very well
