Hello I'm looking for a website that allows me to upload a image (a map in my case) and add clickable places in this image that would open tooltips with a description of a particular place.

I know Thinglink does that but it is a paid website, I'm looking for something free or cheaper.

Why can't you use the free trial version?
>>
>>324251
It has many limitations.
>>
>>324255
What are you using it for?

Google has a map api you can use to apply stuff to.
>>
>>324257
I'm writing a D&D setting and I want to put the information of some places in a interactive map so I could show to my players and other interested people without the need of login into roll20 or Fantasy Grounds.
>>
>>324262
roll 20 would work I believe.

Why not code it yourself?
>>
>>324268
I don't know much about coding.
>>
>>324277
Uhm, is it one image, one time or would you want it for different images?

It would only be html, css and Javascript.
>>
>>324280
One image, but eventually I would like to drag a city map from the regional map (in the future)
>>
>>324286
I could probably code it for you if you need it say within the week, provided you send the image and description.

The second part may take longer.

It would probably be easier to throw up a template so you can do it again and again but obviously that would take longer.

Would be this image: http://i.imgur.com/bwM0rq0.jpg

But I would like the freedom to add the texts by myself since I'm in constant writing.

Do you have access to Adobe Fireworks? Could you get access to it?

It would allow you to make simple roll overs extremely quickly and export as html.
I could code it, but it won't be today. (3am here)
>>
>>324292
I know the software but I do not have it right now, but I can download it.
>>
>>324295
There is a way you can set up before and after states on rollover or on click.

From those states you can position text boxes to appear in certain places.

It seems silly to replicate something that has been done better by someone else.
>>

Cool, I'll download it.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
