I've bought parts:
Motherboard: Asus Prime A320M-K
RAM: Kingston Fury 8GB (x2) 2666MHz
VGA: Gigabyte GeForce 1050TI
CPU: Ryzen 1700
PSU: Corsair CS550M (550W)

Assembled everything together, connected wires, from PSU connected motherboard power, CPU power and SSD power, power on PC, fans are spinning (CPU and VGA fans) monitor (Acer v226hql) says "No signal". And when PC is turned on I tried pressing NUM/CAPS lock on keyboard (connected through USB) to see if it lights up, but it didn't. And can't tell if CTRL+ALT+DELETE or reset button restarts PC, seems like nothing is happening.

What I already tried:
- Tested monitor on other computer (works)
- Switched places RAM, removed 1, changed RAM place (still nothing)
- Switched VGA with old AMD ATI one (which works on other PC, but still "No signal" on new one)

I don't understand where I messed up, everything fitted nicely in it's place

Although... while connecting case front panel wires (power, usb etc.) I used flashlight from my phone to see what's written on motherboard and phone slipped from my hand and landed on motherboard in the place next to PCI-E slot... Doesn't seem that any component were bent or anything though.

Did I fucked up my motherboard?

I'm thinking to buy Gigabyte ga ab350m gaming, if I did.
>>
What are minimum components I can turn PC on?

Can I access BIOS only with GPU and PSU attached to MOBO?

Also bump
>>
>>313805
You need:

-Motherboard
-RAM
-CPU
-CPU cooler

If you want to see anything you need some form of GPU, but it's not mandatory: you can (for example) see if it boots a DVD or PXE boots.
>>
>>313681
i am too lazy to search, sry. has this mobo onboard video ?
try connecting monitor to onboard. if alright. change pcie settings in bios.
>>
>>313830
Mobo has video output, but I don't have CPU with integrated graphics...
>>
>>313809
Don't have dvs player... If keyboard NUM lock (i.e.) turns on it should mean that it booted, right?
If, however, NUM lock won't light up - somethings wrong?
>>
>>313844
Does it matter if keyboard is connected to USB?
>>
>>313844
If it does work that shows it has booted, but if it doesn't work that doesn't show it hasn't booted.

>>313845
It depends on the BIOS settings. It's certainly possible to set the BIOS to ignore USB peripherals (I've done that on embedded systems to take a second off the boot time).
>>
>>313858
Any advice on what should I do?
Take out CMOS battery maybe, if it resets bios?
>>
Did you connect both motherboard power cables? The 4-pin one top left too?

Maybe you bent pins on the cpu.
>>
>>313879
Yes, both connected.
I don't think I bent any pin, CPU fell in easily...
Will check in few hours though...
>>
>>313681
It is possible that your dropped phone destroyed some connection, but it is unlikely.

It could be that your CPU cooler is fitted too tight, so I'd recommend remounting that.

If you have a diagnostics speaker from an older PC, I'd recommend using that to get some more info on where the startup goes wrong.

Is it pic related?
I got it with my MOBO
>>
>>313887
>Cpu cooler fitted too tight
This, actually might be the case...
I think I did screw CPU cooler tight
>>
>>313681
>Assembled everything together, connected wires, from PSU connected motherboard power, CPU power and SSD power,
Did you connect the power cable for the video card, OP?
>>
>>313978
No, this video card does not have power connector inside.
http://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N105TOC-4GD#kf
this exactly GPU I have.
Also, I did switched GPU to old ATI one and had same issue.

UPDATE:
- Removed CMOS battery for ~10 mins to hopefully reset bios to factory
- Checked for bent pins in CPU, none were bent, Loosen CPU fan
- Tried turn on without GPU with connected keyboard (after all CMOS battery thing) NUM lock light does not turn on
- Replaced PSU from working PC

And nothing new, same "No signal".

Am I really unlucky and phone impact to mobo damaged it or I got faulty mobo?

I guess I'll buy new motherboard...
>>
>>313965
Also, connected this speaker and tried to turn on PC with everything connected and with only CPU, but speaker were silent.

I'll buy
http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-Gaming-3-rev-10#kf
this one.
It is compatible with all parts I have, unless I'm missing something, but probably not.

Will report back in couple days if thread won't disappear.
>>
>>314049
It's unlikely it's a case of bad motherboard.

Try running things without the video card. Do you get any output at all on the builtin video out?

From specifications of mobo, and my ram are 2666 non ecc un buffered

This is the problem... Right..?

>>
>>314375
Or does that description means that with ryzen mobo supports ddr4 2666 non ecc un buffered?
>>
Checked my ram support for motherboard and on the list there are hyperx 2666, but not exact my configuration (4GB x2)...

Does that mean that mobo does not support my ram?
>>
>>314389
And there are no 4GB version on support list

At this point should I buy supported ram by mobo or mobo which supports ram?
>>
Before I purchase anything, please someone, confirm, that incompatible RAM would fail to boot?
>>
It's possible.

Oh well... I'll buy motherboard which supports RAM...
Might use this mobo for some server PC or something, later...

Thanks for all help, appreciated.
