can someone trace the drawing and color and shade it?
thank you
Can you get a proper scan of the drawing?
this is the best I have
>>309960
I'll try, give me 10 mins or so.
>>310050
thanks, I appreciate it
Any specifics?
Not the best re-colorer, but I'm 'bout half done.
Sorry if it's bad,
Here, mate, sorry for the shit-tier quality, I tried my best, I don't have an artists' pad.
I tried to trace it, can someone colour and shade it now?
>>309960
I am willing to do it but it will take me a while.
Email me here in-case this thread disappears:

brief description on how you extracted the hand drawing from the paper photo? it looks good and i have no idea how to properly do sth like this
>>310386
It looks like freehand tracing, really sloppy. Just use a graphics tablet and trace on a different layer.
Get a program with line smoothing so you won't get a result like that. Like Sai or Clip studio. But if you really think that looks fine, just go at it with GIMP or PS

the skin is perfect but the chains need work.

I find it extremely easy to trace anything with Sketch on Android. It's a cheap and dirty solution, as you can just snap a photo of your drawing with your phone or tablet and open it in Sketch right away, add a layer and begin tracing. The photo never has to be good, the only thing you need is ensuring the angle is appropriate.
Once the tracing is done, delete or hide the photo layer, then add a coloring layer *below* the tracing layer (i.e. between the tracing and photo layers), then use the experiment coloring there.

>then use the experiment coloring
*then experiment coloring

I really like this one. Excellent work.

free hand. i was in the zone and had my fun with it.i have never done a project like this. i wanted to get rid of all the shadows first and than trace the outlines .i have no idea how to properly trace them so i experimented with alot of techniques available in photoshop.
the hait was all made with line tool and free transformation.
again i have no idea what i am doing.
i am also not into anime so i used alot of reference pictures for skin, colors and so on.
hope that helps anyone. keep on drawing folks cheers

maybe i will finish it up if this thread still exists tomorrow. i was too tired

I think the style lost a bit of itself with the more generic looking eyes, (eventhough the new ones are very intricate and well done, props to that) and the gap between her thighs should be skin coloured, because now it looks like she has nothing behind her (mostly referring to her ass)
The lineart is very neat, and the background is detailed enough to be interesting, but not too much to diminish the impact of the character. The colours mesh well with each other, orangish/beige with blue. But the gradients used do look a bit cheap.
All in all I'd say you've done a great job, and I hope what I said didn't discourage you on your artistic journey!
Also, some criticism to the original picture, I don't think chain physics work that way, haha

thanks. i am a complete noob. this is my first attempt. i tried copying as much as i could because i have no idea how it should be done since i am not into anime. there are so many differnet style of shading, colouring...out there. its just amazing. i mixed alot of it.
thx for your analysis, gives me a good insight.
i have never done any lineart so thanks for that. i noticed too that "my" drawing differs from the original. some minor details can change so much. also loosing the orignal shadows made a big impact.
gradients are all photoshop . i dont know a other way of making them.
OPs original photo was not the best quality to work with and a real challenge for me but all in all alot of fun and i learned alot of new stuff.
thx again and have fun
OP, I'd love to tackle this for you, but I have no time right now, and It will take some work.
Can you give me an email?

can you just make the grey chains gold and it would look perfect. I really love the ears, super well done. The backgroud is also very interesting, what made you decide to do that?
