My mouse stopped working the cursor won't move but everything else works, I already tried re installing and any other solution google gave me, after opening it up I found a loose spring and again after googling I can't find where it should go.
TL;DR:
The mouse works but the cursor won't move
Help me find where the spring is supposed to go please.

The LED might be bad.
Look at the bottom through a camera, you should see the part over the lense lit up.
I'm guessing the spring has to do with the scroll wheel .

so the buttons click, like the right click shows the context menu but the cursor wont move? if that is the case and the led works then the camera ccd is probably busted or the pinhole blocked/dirty (which would be extremely odd). either way, seems like you might need a new a new mouse
if the buttons dont work but the led powers then there is a chance that one of the data cable(s) of the mouse cord is broken and the mouse powers on but no data is exchanged with the pc
