Upgrade to an LGA-1151 motherboard and get the Pentium G4560. Games mostly run like shit because the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU.

750ti, while being a bit old, should perform adequately, but your athlon processor feels like it's the weakest link here.
8gb is pretty basic for RAM, that's how much I have in my beast.
500w PS is fine too, I think. It covers everything you have currently and then some

After that you should consider upgrading your GPU to an Rx 580. Maybe sell your A68H motherboard and your old CPU and GPU on ebay to get the money for it.

would the Msi H110I PRO Intel H110 SK1151 (75$) work?

can't order that motherboard so looking for the closest thing to it

That asrock one will work just fine. I'd stay away from msi, I had a few and all had some kind of problem.
