Is Mangatraders the only good website for downloading manga?

There's alternatives, but mangatraders is good enough.
The alternatives came into existence because the previous incarnation of mangatraders got DMCA'd to oblivion, anyway.

That's not what happened. They got hacked by HorribleSubs because their security was nonexistent, and gave up on trying to fix things.

What? No. Or, at least not what happened in late '14.
In late '14, the IP trolls started bombarding the owner of MT, and he decided to just quit, while offering the whole library to whoever wanted to host it somewhere else. That's where the alternatives came from, and then some people took over/made the new MT.

I don't remember the site ever coming back up after it was hacked, and it was most certainly hacked in '14.

>In June 2014, the Manga trading website Mangatraders.com had the usernames and passwords of over 900k users leaked on the internet (approximately 855k of the emails were unique). The passwords were weakly hashed with a single iteration of MD5 leaving them vulnerable to being easily cracked.
