Anyone who doesn't pick

GODDAMN IT
need more context
i picked 75% chance
>>302307
The expectation is the same, Archimedes.
1*750=(0.75*1000)+(0.25*0)
>>302909
that's true, so now we need context:
is it one trial, or a few?
can I afford to lose, or can't I?
casinos don't want you playing once, winning a $1000 and then leaving
if it's a one time thing, i'd go with the risk despite the expected values being equal
>>302307
How about an alternative hypothetical? Would you rather bet $1 on each number on a 38 (double zero) number roulette wheel, or $38 on a single number? A winning bet on a single number pays out 35:1.
Bear in mind the expected value is the same either way.
