Hello senpai-tachi. Please teach me how to become otacool.
I have an interest in Japanese media and wanted to take it a step further. Tell me everything I need to know.
For example, what websites can I get art from? I usually get my high quality images from 4chan and other imageboards and recently found out about pixiv. What are some other websites for good art? And is the pixiv subscription worth it?
What about doujin? I know of exhentai, what are other important sources from that?
When it comes to downloading things, there is nyaa of course. What other websites are just as important?
Any forums or imageboards that you'd recommend?
And please tell me of any other things you judge as being relevant (ie buying a figure or playing 2hu) mina-san.
Lurk moar.
Stop trying too hard

Anime is shit. Enjoy what you enjoy. Don't do autistic shit like throwing japanese terms. Die from suicide.
The best way to become cool is to dip your toes into anything and everything, and to formulate your own opinions about what you're seeing.
This is the strangest request. Why would you try this hard on something so inane?
Playing 2hu is really up to you, I personally disliked the games, even Hisoutensoku, but I love the characters and music.
Pixiv and optionally boorus for images (gelbooru, sankakuchannel etc.)
Nyaa.se for recent torrents, private trackers for the more obscure ones
Exhentai basically has everything, but the UI is awful, maybe nhentai or hitomi.la, or the dead husk of pururin if you want something easier to browse.
You pretty much already know everything there is. For me, buying a figure comes after watching a show/playing a game and only then thinking about a fig. /a/ has a buyfag general and a buyfag guide, if you really want to descend into darkenss.
I'd just rather follow these

Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom senpai.

I guess imageboards are my only source ever of social interactions that are not extremely violent or traumatizing, so it makes me happy I can share things with you amazing people.
