It's a true masterpiece. Most plebs hate it because they think that hating what's popular is cool (also because there was this other anime that started on the same day and had a very similar episode, but then it turned out to be awful shit later on and they were already too invested on memeing the main whore; therefore they started shitposting about Asterisk being worse), but Asterisk war was easily one of the top five of that year.
