The protagonist of Himouto Umaru-chan is almost like Tomoko.

I recommend you Joshiraku, Nichijou and Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou.

There's also Haibane Renmei, is a good slice of life but is more drama than comedy. Anyway, is a pretty good anime, one of my favorites.

everything mentioned in this thread, and the holy trio of romcoms that I'm glad /a/ still loves and remembers to this day; Baka to test, Seto no hanayome, and School Rumble, all of which have pretty good dubs (yeah I know) considering they're all dubbed by Funimation but over 6 years ago with a lot of effort put into the latter two with dubbed songs in the episodes.

Aria The Animation. It's a scifi setting on a terraformed "Mars", but you can get over that with no issues, I would say.

No superpower/spacebattle/mecha etc. Just dwelling in that slow paced slice of life.

The composer of the music gets an extra point from me. I have visited the actual Venezia in Italy, and I somehow the music took me back there, every now and then.
