I bought an EVGA GTX 1060 because my R9 290 kept crashing when I played games. I uninstalled drivers with DDU but now when the 1060 is installed, the PC doesn't make it past the BIOS screen. Also, the screen is off-center when the GTX 1060 is installed and the PC makes a short beeping sound. How can I fix this?
Specs are:
Acer Aspire M3450 pre-built
AMD FX-6300
850W PSU
10GB RAM
looks like the problem wasnt the graphics card, start taking out stuf and testing things one by one: ram, hdd, etc.

Plug the power connectors in properly.
If it won't get past the BIOS, it's a hardware problem.

I guess, if GPUs were made of software.
After some digging I found out Acer desktops are actually just too old to use anything from Nvidia GTX 700 series and later. I guess I'll just return the card for an RX 480. Hopefully it won't have issues crashing when I play videogames.
