I can't remember but the basic idea is a theme or some part from the play needs to be represented in an object. I'm thinking of doing some drawing but I need an idea.

An hourglass on its side next to a clock. Lifting the hourglass upright represents action and moving on with what needs to be done while leaving it represents inaction. And either way the clock, which represents the world and everyone else in it will keep going no matter what choice you make.
You could draw this, or you could bring a clock and hourglass to class, that wouldn't be to hard, and would serve the metaphor better. That is unless it has to be a drawing or you don't want to carry around a clock.

Scratch that, instead of a clock you should use a bigger hourglass, to repress a larger group and that way you can show sand falling to convey time passing/actions happening.
